Whenever Kanye says “Chi-town” in his songs all I think of is China town, not Chicago.

Here are some minor nicknames that wikipedia lists for Chicago:

“Dat Killa Chi!”

“Da Chi & The ‘Go”

“The Chill or Chi Ill”

“The City That Works”

“City of Broad Shoulders”

“Illville”

“New York Done Right”

Some of these don’t really roll off the tongue.
